The Mirror

James pleads Christians who are learning how to live under the grace of Jesus not to simply be hearers, but be doers of the Word.
He compares Scripture to a mirror. When we look into it, we see who we are. It is then up to us to respond appropriately to who it says we are. When looking into the mirror of Scripture you will find it revealing two things about you:
You are a dirty, rotten sinner.
You are impossibly loved, relentlessly pursued, and worth dying for as a child of God.
