Emmanuel 2,000 years ago...Great for Mary, Joseph, the wise men, the shepherds, the lame man, the mute, the Centurion's servant, the bleeding woman and the rest of them. But what about me? Jesus calmed the storm in Galilee, but my marriage/life/family is a mess and He is no where to be found...I don't need God to be awesome. I need God to be here.
Well the Christmas story is one of many ways that we see that Emmanuel has always been and will always be God's name. You are loved. You are not alone.
